So, here we are! Never thought our idea and carefull start on Facebook would result in a website let alone bilingal one. We need to make a special mention for yet another sister here. Marina who lives down under and is one of our greater supporters was asking for an English website. Well here it is! 🙂

Nadine
My name is Nadine, 35 years old and I love cooking and baking and even more eating the result afterwards ;). As a teenager I started trying recipes here and there, I still have a folder with the clippings from magazines that I tried out back then. It was not always a success, but my family were often happy when I had baked something again.
In daily life I work in the food sector as a product implementation coordinator. The colleagues also regularly enjoy the new recipes and some old classics.
Specialty : Cheddar & Beef Pot Pie
Favourite dish : Pancakes
Don't like : Mushrooms
Unique ability : Cutting onions very small
Most important task at De Roestige Vork : Cooking, baking, website, writing blogs. And ... cleaning up ... those other two never do!
Can always wake me for : Rather not, but if you have to, bring something sweet!
Leoni
My name is Leoni, 29 years old, mother of 3 very sweet children;) and I like to be creative! Both with fabric and wool, but of course also in the kitchen. I like to invent new recipes but always look for interesting recipes of other cooks. I will rarely stick to a recipe, always finding a way to improve or creating something new.
Good food has been poured into it with the spoon. My grandmother, mother and sisters (obviously) can cook delicious food. The rest of the family will never decline the opportunity to try one of our new recipes. Our children also love to eat and taste whatever we create!
I have been a housemom for over 4 years, but I recently started working again as an assistant at a midwifery practice (a place where they also like to taste our baked goods)!

Judith
My name is Judith, 22 years old, and I love everthing food. Making food, eating food, watching food related tv series and the endles flipping through cook books for inspiration. I have the best deal with my friend with whom I live togather in Utrecht: I cook and he does the cleaning!

I have graduated in Food Technology and learned a lot of usefull skills for De Roestige Vork. fgestudeerd als voedingsmiddelentechnoloog, echter heb ik daar nog geen werk in gevonden en werk ik momenteel als verkoopster in een bakkerij en verder nog een beetje zoekende wat ik wil.
